AUSTRALIAN SECURITIES COMMISSION ACT 1989 No. 90 of 1989 - SECT 209

209. (1) The Minister may:

   (a)  appoint a person selected by him or her from the panel referred to in
        paragraph 203(1)(b) to be the deputy of the member referred to in that
        paragraph; and

   (b)  appoint person selected by him or her from the panel referred to in
        paragraph 203(1)(c) to be the deputy of the member referred to in that
        paragraph.

(2) A deputy of a member is entitled to attend meetingsof the
Disciplinary Board at which the member is not present and, while so attending,
shall be deemed to be a member of the Disciplinary Board.
