AUSTRALIAN PROTECTIVE SERVICE ACT 1987 No. 7 of 1987 - SECT 5

5. (1) There is hereby established in the Department a Service to be known as
the Australian Protective Service.

(2) The Protective Service consists of-

   (a)  the following officers of the Department, namely, the Director and the
        other protective service officers; and

   (b)  persons whose duties in the Department are wholly or principally
        related to the performance of the functions of the Protective Service.
