AUSTRALIAN PRUDENTIAL REGULATION AUTHORITY ACT 1998No. 50, 1998 - SECT 53
Borrowing by APRA
(1) APRA may borrow money from the Commonwealth or persons other than the
Commonwealth.
(2) The Treasurer may enter into a contract on behalf of the Commonwealth
guaranteeing the performance by APRA of obligations incurred by APRA under
subsection (1). If the Treasurer enters into such a contract the obligations
are so guaranteed.
