AUSTRALIAN NATIONAL UNIVERSITY ACT 1991 No. 131 of 1991 - SECT 32

32. (1) The Council must appoint the Chancellor of the University.

(2) Subject to the Statutes, the Chancellor holds office for such period, and
on such conditions, as the Council determines.
