A NEW TAX SYSTEM (FAMILY ASSISTANCE) (ADMINISTRATION) ACT 1999 - SECT 91
Secretary may allow payment of debt by instalments
- (1)
- The Secretary may, on behalf of the Commonwealth, decide to allow a person
to pay a debt in one or more instalments.
- (2)
- A decision made under subsection (1) takes effect:
- (a)
- if no day is specified in the decisionon the day on which the
decision is made; or
- (b)
- if a day is specified in the decisionon the day so specified
(whether that day is before, after or on the day on which the decision is
made).
- (3)
- In subsection (1):
"debt" means a debt recoverable by the Commonwealth under Division 2.
