A NEW TAX SYSTEM (FAMILY ASSISTANCE) (ADMINISTRATION) ACT 1999 - SECT 76
Data-matching Program (Assistance and Tax) Act debts
If:
- (a)
- an amount has been paid to a person by way of family assistance; and
- (b)
- the amount is a debt due to the Commonwealth under subsection 11(6) of the
Data-matching Program (Assistance and Tax) Act 1990 ;
the amount so paid is recoverable by the Commonwealth.
