A NEW TAX SYSTEM (FAMILY ASSISTANCE) ACT 1999 - SECT 66
Amount of maternity allowance
The amount of maternity allowance in respect of a child is the greater of the
following amounts:
- (a)
- $780;
- (b)
- 2.4 times the amount stated in column 3 of item 1 in Table C in point
1068B-C2 in Module C of the PP (Partnered) Rate Calculator in section 1068B of
the Social Security Act 1991 .
