AUSTRALIAN NATIONAL TRAINING AUTHORITY ACT 1992 No. 203 of 1992 - SECT 39

39.(1) A member who has a direct or indirect pecuniary interest in a matter
being considered, or about to be considered, by the Authority must, as soon as
possible after the relevant facts come to the member's knowledge, disclose the
nature of the interest at a meeting of the Authority.

(2) The disclosure is to be recorded in the minutes of the meeting and, unless
the Ministerial Council otherwise determines, the member must not:

   (a)  be present during any deliberation of the Authority in relation to the
        matter; or

   (b)  take part in any decision of the Authority in relation to the matter.
