AUSTRALIAN NATIONAL RAILWAYS COMMISSION ACT 1983 No. 140 of 1983 - SECT 60

60. The moneys of the Commission shall be applied only -

   (a)  in payment or discharge of the expenses, charges, obligations and
liabilities incurred or undertaken by the Commission in the
performance of its functions and duties and the exercise of its powers;

   (b)  in payment of the remuneration and allowances payable to persons
appointed under Part III;

   (c)  in making payments to the Commonwealth as provided by this Act;
and

   (d)  in making investments that the Commission is authorized to make
under section 63E of the Audit Act 1901 (as that section applies in
relation to the Commission by virtue of sub-section 66 (1) of this Act).
