AUSTRALIAN NATIONAL RAILWAYS COMMISSION ACT 1983 No. 140 of 1983 - SECT 35

35. (1) The Commission shall appoint a person to be the General Manager of the
Commission.

(2) The General Manager shall be the chief executive officer of the
Commission.

(3) The General Manager holds office on such terms and conditions (in respect
of matters not provided for by this Act) as are determined by the Commission
by instrument in writing.
