Australian National Airlines Amendment Act 1984 No. 68 of 1984 - SECT 9

9. (1) Section 16 of the Principal Act is repealed and the following section
is substituted: Delegation

''16. (1) The Commission may, either generally or as otherwise provided by the
instrument of delegation, by writing under its common seal, delegate to a
person all or any of its powers under this Act, other than this power of
delegation.

''(2) A power so delegated, when exercised by the delegate, shall, for the
purposes of this Act, be deemed to have been exercised by the Commission.

''(3) A delegation under this section does not prevent the exercise of a power
by the Commission.''.

(2) A delegation under section 16 of the Principal Act that was in force
immediately before the commencement of this Act shall, subject to the
Principal Act as amended by this Act, continue to have effect as if it had
been made under section 16 of the Principal Act as amended by this Act.
