AUSTRALIAN MARITIME SAFETY AUTHORITY ACT 1990 No. 78 of 1990 - SECT 29

29. (1) The Minister may direct the Authority to vary the financial plan in
respect of financial targets, and performance indicators, relating to the
provision of services and facilities.

(2) When doing so, the Minister must consider:

   (a)  the matters referred to in section 27 (other than paragraph 27 (c));
        and

   (b)  the objectives and policies of the Commonwealth Government; and

   (c)  any other considerations of a commercial nature that the Minister
        thinks appropriate.

(3) A direction must be in writing and must set out its reasons.
