An Act to amend the Australian Meat and Live-stock Corporation Act 1977.

  BE  IT  ENACTED by the Queen, and the Senate and House of Representatives of
the Commonwealth of Australia, as follows:
Short title, &c.
  1. (1) This Act may be cited as the Australian Meat and Live-stock
Corporation Amendment Act 1979.*1*
  (2) The Australian Meat and Live-stock Corporation Act 1977*2* is in this
Act referred to as the Principal Act.

Commencement

  2. This Act shall come into operation on 1 July 1979.

Payments to the Corporation

  3. Section 34 of the Principal Act is amended by omitting from paragraph (a)
of sub-section (1) ''and 6D (1) (a)'' and substituting '', 6D (1) (a), 6E (1)
        (a) and 6F (1) (a)''.
