  1.(1) This Act may be cited as the Australian Meat and Live-stock (Quotas)
Amendment Act 1993.
  (2) In this Act, "Principal Act" means the Australian Meat and Live-stock
(Quotas) Act 1990.*1*

Commencement

  2. This Act commences on the day on which it receives the Royal Assent.

Sunset clause

  3. Section 9 of the Principal Act is amended by omitting "expiration of 3
years after the date of commencement of this Act" and substituting "end of 28
December 1996".
