ABORIGINAL LAND RIGHTS (NORTHERN TERRITORY) AMENDMENT ACT 1980 No. 72 of 1980 - SECT 9
Consent of Land Council to reflect views of traditional Aboriginal owners
9. Section 48 of the Principal Act is amended by adding at the end thereof the
following sub-section:
"(2) Where a Land Council, in giving a consent referred to in sub-section (1),
fails to comply with that sub-section, that failure does not invalidate the
giving of that consent.".
