AUSTRALIAN LAW REFORM COMMISSION ACT 1996 No. 37, 1996 - SECT 9

9 Durations, terms and conditions of appointments


(1) Subject to sections 17 and 18, a member holds office for the term, not
longer than 7 years, specified in his or her appointment, but is eligible for
re-appointment.

(2) A member's appointment is subject to the terms and conditions (if any) set
out in it.
