AUSTRALIAN LAW REFORM COMMISSION ACT 1996 No. 37, 1996 - SECT 43

(1) The President may, on the Commission's behalf and with the
Attorney-General's approval, appoint as staff of the Commission such persons
as the President thinks necessary for the purposes of this Act.

(2) The terms and conditions of employment of the Commission's staff are to be
determined by the Board and approved by the Attorney-General.
