AUSTRALIAN LAW REFORM COMMISSION ACT 1996 No. 37, 1996 - SECT 34

(1) The President is the Chief Executive Officer of the Commission and is,
under the Board, responsible for the management of the Commission.

(2) Anything done in the Commission's name, or on its behalf, by the President
when acting as its Chief Executive Officer and in accordance with the Board's
directions, is taken to have been done by the Commission.
