AUSTRALIAN LAW REFORM COMMISSION ACT 1996 No. 37, 1996 - SECT 32

(1) The Board may, by resolution, delegate all or any of its powers to one of
its members.

(2) The delegate is, in the exercise of a delegated power, subject to the
Board's directions.

(3) A delegation of a power:

   (a)  may be revoked by resolution of the Board, whether or not constituted
        by the same people that constituted it when the power was delegated;
        and

   (b)  continues in force despite any change in the Board's membership.
