AUSTRALIAN LAW REFORM COMMISSION ACT 1996 No. 37, 1996 - SECT 15

(1) The Attorney-General may, in writing, direct a part-time member to perform
the duties of his or her office on a full-time basis in the circumstances, and
for the period, specified in the direction.

(2) While a part-time member performs duties on a full-time basis in
accordance with a direction, the member is to be paid the same remuneration
and allowances as are payable to a full-time member.
