AUSTRALIA-JAPAN FOUNDATION ACT 1976 No. 18 of 1976 - SECT 19

19. (1) Moneys standing to the credit of the Fund shall be applied only in
payment of amounts properly payable by the Foundation in the performance of
its functions, otherwise than in respect of general administrative expenses.

(2) Notwithstanding anything contained in this Act, where any moneys are
received by the Foundation by way of or as a result of a gift, devise or
bequest that is subject to conditions in relation to the purposes for which it
is to be applied, those moneys, and any income derived from the investment of
those moneys, may be applied for those purposes and subject to those
conditions, but not otherwise.
