AUSTRALIAN HORTICULTURAL CORPORATION ACT 1987 No. 164 of 1987 - SECT 11

Consultations with industry representatives etc.
11. (1) Without limiting the generality of subsection 9 (1), the Corporation
may make arrangements for consultations between it or a product group
committee and:

   (a)  persons and bodies representative of Australian horticultural
        industries; and

   (b)  Commonwealth, State and Territory authorities concerned with:

        (i)    Australian horticultural industries; or

        (ii)   the export of Australian horticultural products.

(2) Arrangements made by the Corporation under subsection (1) may provide for:

   (a)  the Corporation's agreeing to meet travel expenses reasonably incurred
        by a person in connection with consultations with the Corporation or a
        product group committee; and

   (b)  subject to written guidelines given to the Corporation by the
        Minister, the Corporation's agreeing to meet expenses (other than
        travel expenses) reasonably incurred by an eligible industry body, or
        a member of an eligible industry body, in connection with
        consultations with the Corporation or a product group committee.
