AUSTRALIAN HOUSING CORPORATION ACT 1975 No. 25 of 1975 - SECT 59

59. (1) Section 39 of the Defence Service Homes Act is repealed.

(2) Section 39A of the Defence Service Homes Act is amended by omitting
sub-section (1).

(3) Sections 39B, 39C, 42 and 42A of the Defence Service Homes Act are
repealed.

(4) Notwithstanding the repeal of section 39 of the Defence Service Homes Act
by sub-section (1), that section shall, until a date fixed for the purpose by
Proclamation, continue to apply to moneys received by the Corporation under
the Defence Service Homes Act 1918-1975 as if a reference in that section to
the Director of Defence Service Homes were a reference to the Corporation.

(5) Notwithstanding the amendment of section 39A of the Defence Service Homes
Act by sub-section (2), sub-section (1) of that section shall continue to
apply until the date fixed under sub-section (4) of this section.
