AUSTRALIAN HERITAGE COMMISSION ACT 1975 No. 57 of 1975 - SECT 8

8. The Commission shall, in the performance of its functions in relation to
any matter, and so far as it considers appropriate having regard to the nature
of the matter, consult with Departments and authorities of the States, local
government authorities and community and other organizations.
