AUSTRALIAN HERITAGE COMMISSION ACT 1975 No. 57 of 1975 - SECT 39

Power to purchase and dispose of assets.

39. The Commission shall not, except with the approval of the Minister-

   (a)  enter into a contract involving the payment or receipt by the
        Commission of an amount exceeding $50,000 or, if a higher amount is
        prescribed, that higher amount; or

   (b)  enter into a lease of land for a period exceeding 10 years.
