AUSTRALIAN FILM COMMISSION ACT 1975 No. 6 of 1975 - SECT 16

16. (1) Subject to this Act, a member holds office for such period, not
exceeding 5 years, as is specified in the instrument of his appointment and on
such terms and conditions as the Governor-General determines, but is eligible
for re-appointment.

(2) A person who has attained the age of 65 years shall not be appointed or
re-appointed as the Chairman or other full-time member, and a person shall not
be appointed or re-appointed as the Chairman or other full-time member for a
period that extends beyond the date on which he will attain the age of 65
years.
