AUSTRALIAN CAPITAL TERRITORY ELECTRICITY SUPPLY AMENDMENT ACT 1979 No. 106 of 1979 - SECT 5

5. A person holding office immediately before the commencement of this Act as
the member of the Australian Capital Territory Electricity Authority referred
to in sub-section 6 (3) of the Principal Act shall continue to hold office,
subject to that Act (other than sub-section 6 (7)) as amended by this Act
until such time as the Australian Capital Territory House of Assembly elects
one of its members as a member of that Authority in pursuance of sub-section 6
(3) of the Principal Act as amended by this Act.
