ABORIGINAL COUNCILS AND ASSOCIATIONS ACT 1976 No. 186 of 1976 - SECT 55
Alteration of objects, &c., does not affect existing rights and obligations.
55. An alteration of the objects of an Incorporated Aboriginal Association or
the issue of a certificate of incorporation to an Association in a new name,
does not affect any right, liability or obligation of the Association or of
any person, or any legal proceedings, existing or pending immediately before
the alteration took effect or the certificate was issued, as the case may be.
