AUSTRALIAN COMMUNICATIONS AUTHORITY ACT 1997 No. 52 of 1997 - SECT 44

(1) The money of the ACA may only be applied:

   (a)  in payment or discharge of the costs, expenses and other obligations
        incurred by the ACA in the performance of its functions or the
        exercise of its powers; and

   (b)  in payment of any remuneration or allowances payable under this Act;
        and

   (c)  in making any other payments which the ACA is authorised or required
        to make under this Act or any other law.

(2) Subsection (1) does not prevent the investment of the ACA's money in
accordance with section 63E of the Audit Act 1901.
