AUSTRALIAN COMMUNICATIONS AUTHORITY ACT 1997 No. 52 of 1997 - SECT 20

A person is not to be appointed as a member or associate member unless he or
she appears to the appointing authority to be qualified for appointment
because of his or her knowledge of, or experience in, one or more of the
following fields:

   (a)  industry;

   (b)  commerce;

   (c)  technology;

   (d)  consumer affairs;

   (e)  economics;

   (f)  law;

   (g)  public administration;

   (h)  town planning;

   (i)  conservation of natural or cultural heritage.
