AUSTRALIAN COMMUNICATIONS AUTHORITY ACT 1997 No. 52 of 1997 - SECT 14

(1) This section applies to the body corporate that was, immediately before
the commencement of this section, in existence because of section 34 of the
Telecommunications Act 1991 under the name Australian Telecommunications
Authority.

(2) That body corporate continues in existence by force of this section as a
body corporate, under and subject to the provisions of this Act, under the
name Australian Communications Authority.
