AUSTRALIAN CITIZENSHIP AMENDMENT ACT 1984 No. 129 of 1984 - SECT 2

2. (1) Subject to sub-section (2), this Act shall come into operation on the
twenty-eighth day after the day on which it receives the Royal Assent.

(2) Section 3, sub-section 4 (2), sections 7, 22, 33 and 34 and section 37
shall come into operation on a day to be fixed by Proclamation.
