AUSTRALIA COUNCIL AMENDMENT ACT 1976 No. 113 of 1976 - SECT 19

19. Section 44 of the Principal Act is amended by adding at the end thereof
the following sub-section:-

''(2) In particular, but without limiting the generality of sub-section (1),
the regulations may make provision for and in relation to the administration
of the scheme referred to in section 5A, including provision for-

   (a)  the making of statutory declarations in respect of applications for
        payments;

   (b)  the recovery of over-payments; and

   (c)  penalties, not exceeding $500, in respect of offences against the
        regulations.''.
