Australian Broadcasting Corporation (Transitional Provisions and Consequential Amendments) Act 1983 No. 7 of 1983 - SECT 2

2. (1) Sections 1 and 2, sub-section 15 (1) and section 24 shall come into
operation on the day on which this Act receives the Royal Assent.

(2) The remaining provisions of this Act shall come into operation on the day
fixed under sub-section 2 (2) of the Australian Broadcasting Corporation
Act 1983.
