Limitation on contracts and lease-back arrangements
70. (1) The Corporation shall not, without the approval of the Minister-
(a) enter into a contract under which the Corporation is to pay or receive
an amount exceeding $500,000 or, if a higher amount is prescribed by
the regulations, that higher amount; or
(b) enter into a contract or arrangement with another person under which
the other person agrees to acquire real or personal property to be
leased, or let on hire, to the Corporation.
(2) Paragraph (1) (a) does not apply in relation to the receipt by the
Corporation of an amount for the sale or other disposition of broadcasting
programs or television programs.
