Australian Broadcasting Corporation Act 1983 No. 6 of 1983 - SECT 28

28. For the purposes of the performance of its functions, the Corporation may-

   (a)  establish, maintain and utilize, in such manner as the Board thinks
        desirable, orchestras, bands and other groups of musicians for the
        performance of music of high quality; and

   (b)  make arrangements for the holding of, or organize or subsidize, any
        public concert or other public entertainment.
