Australian Broadcasting Corporation Act 1983 No. 6 of 1983 - SECT 24

24. (1) The Managing Director may, either generally or as otherwise provided
by the instrument of delegation, by writing signed by him, delegate to an
officer or temporary employee of the Corporation all or any of his powers
under this Act, the regulations or the rules, other than this power of
delegation.

(2) A power delegated under this section, when exercised by the delegate,
shall, for the purposes of this Act, the regulations or the rules, be deemed
to have been exercised by the Managing Director.

(3) A delegation under this section does not prevent the exercise of a power
by the Managing Director.
