ABORIGINAL AND TORRES STRAIT ISLANDER COMMISSION AMENDMENT ACT (No. 3) 1993 No. 1 of 1994 - SECT 79

Amendments relating to the establishment of the Torres Strait Regional Authority Amendments 
79.(1) The Principal Act is amended as set out in Schedule 2 to this Act.
Application

(2) The amendments of sections 61 and 63 of the Principal Act made by this
Part apply in relation to:

   (a)  estimates and draft budgets prepared for the financial year beginning
        on 1 July 1994 and for each later financial year; and

   (b)  estimates prepared for a period other than a financial year, if the
        period begins on or after 1 July 1994.
