ABORIGINAL AND TORRES STRAIT ISLANDER COMMISSION AMENDMENT ACT 1993 No. 26 of 1993 - SECT 7

7. Section 32 of the Principal Act is amended:
(a) by inserting in subsection (1) "after a zone election" after

"Commission" (first occurring);

   (b)  by omitting subsection (2) and substituting the following subsection:

"(2) At any other meeting of the Commission, the Commissioners must elect one
of their number to be the Deputy Chairperson of the Commission if there is a
vacancy in the office of Deputy Chairperson of the Commission.".
