ABORIGINAL AND TORRES STRAIT ISLANDER COMMISSION ACT 1989 No. 150 of 1989 - SECT 27

Constitution of Commission 
27. (1) The Commission consists of a Chairperson and 19 other members
appointed by the Minister.

(2) The Chairperson and 2 other members shall be chosen by the Minister.

(3) The other 17 members shall be the persons elected under Division 7 of Part
3 to represent the several zones.

(4) This section has effect subject to section 28.
