ABORIGINAL AND TORRES STRAIT ISLANDER COMMISSION ACT 1989 No. 150 of 1989 - SECT 209

209. (1) The Minister may, after consulting the Minister for Finance, declare
in writing that a specified liability of the old Commission does not become a
liability of the new Commission.

(2) Where the Minister makes a declaration under subsection (1), the liability
concerned becomes a liability of the Commonwealth.
