ABORIGINAL AND TORRES STRAIT ISLANDER COMMISSION ACT 1989 No. 150 of 1989 - SECT 208

208. (1) At the commencement, money held, immediately before the commencement,
in the Capital Fund referred to in paragraph 20 (3) (a) of the ADC Act becomes
money of the Corporation.

(2) At the commencement, any assets of the old Commission that were acquired
as a result of expenditure out of the Capital Fund referred to in paragraph 20
(3) (a) of the ADC Act, and any liabilities of the old Commission that are
associated with those assets, become assets and liabilities of the
Corporation.
