ABORIGINAL AND TORRES STRAIT ISLANDER COMMISSION ACT 1989 No. 150 of 1989 - SECT 145

145. (1) An Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Commercial Development
Corporation is established.

(2) The Corporation:

   (a)  is a body corporate;

   (b)  shall have a seal;

   (c)  may acquire, hold and dispose of real and personal property; and

   (d)  may sue and be sued.

(3) The seal of the Corporation shall be kept in such custody as the
Corporation Board directs and shall not be used except as authorised by the
Corporation Board.

(4) All courts, judges and persons acting judicially shall take judicial
notice of the imprint of the seal of the Corporation appearing on a document
and shall presume that it was duly affixed.
