ABORIGINAL AND TORRES STRAIT ISLANDER COMMISSION ACT 1989 No. 150 of 1989 - SECT 132

132. (1) Zone elections shall be conducted in accordance with:

   (a)  the provisions of this Act; and

   (b)  the zone election rules in force at the end of the election period in
        relation to the last round of Regional Council elections.

(2) Subject to zone election rules made under paragraph 138 (1) (b), zone
elections shall be conducted by the Australian Electoral Commission.
