ABORIGINAL AND TORRES STRAIT ISLANDER COMMISSION ACT 1989 No. 150 of 1989 - SECT 130

130. (1) For the purposes of this Act, the regions are grouped, as shown in
Schedule 1, into the zones set out in column A of that Schedule.

(2) The regulations may amend Schedule 1 so as to remove a region from one
zone and include it in another zone.

(3) A regulation made pursuant to subsection (2) takes effect at the end of
the election period in relation to the first round of Regional Council
elections held after the date on which the regulation is notified in the
Gazette.
