179 Simplified outline
The following is a simplified outline of this Part:
. The regulations may declare airspace to be prescribed airspace if it is in
the interests of the safety, efficiency or regularity of air transport
operations into or out of an airport for the airspace to be protected.
. Activities that result in intrusions into prescribed airspace are called
controlled activities.
. Controlled activities require approval.
. Approvals are given under the regulations.
