Archives Act 1983 No. 79 of 1983 - SECT 50

50. For the purposes of this Part and of the application of the
Administrative Appeals Tribunal Act 1975 in respect of proceedings under this
Part-

   (a)  a decision given by the Archives shall be deemed to have been given by
        the Director-General; and

   (b)  in proceedings for the determination of a question referred to in
        sub-section 44 (5) or (6) in relation to a record, the Minister who is
        the appropriate Minister for the purposes of section 45 in relation to
        the record shall, upon application to the Tribunal, be entitled to be
        a party to the proceedings.
