TRANSPORT SAFETY INVESTIGATION REGULATIONS 2003 - REG 4.4

                For the purposes of the definition of responsible person in subsection 3 (1) of the Act, the following persons are responsible persons in relation to reportable matters:

                (a)    a crew member of the rail vehicle concerned;

               (b)    the owner or operator of the rail vehicle;

                (c)    the track access provider that manages the railway network on which the reportable matter occurred;

               (d)    a person performing a railway control service in relation to the rail vehicle.
