        These Regulations are the Sydney Airport Curfew Regulations
1995.

- REG 2     Commencement [see Note 1] 

 
        These Regulations commence on the day on which the Sydney
Airport Curfew Act 1995 commences.

- REG 3     Interpretation 

 
        In these Regulations:

"Act" means the Sydney Airport Curfew Act 1995.

SYDNEY AIRPORT CURFEW REGULATIONS 1995
- REG 4     Meaning of air traffic controller 

 
        For the purposes of the definition of air traffic
controller in section 3 of the Act, air traffic
controller means an employee of Airservices Australia who is authorised
under subregulation 102 (1) of the Civil Aviation Regulations to act in an air
traffic control capacity.

- REG 5     Address for lodgment of return 

 
    (1)  For the purposes of paragraphs 8 (3) (d) and 9 (3) (e) of
the Act, the prescribed address for lodgment of a return by post is:

        Airservices Australia
        GPO Box 367
        CANBERRA ACT 2601.

    (2)  For the purposes of paragraphs 8 (3) (d) and 9 (3) (e) of the
Act, the prescribed address for lodgment of a return in person is:

        Airservices Australia
        Alan Woods Building
        25 Constitution Avenue
        CANBERRA CITY 2601.

Note   Under subsection 8 (3) of the Act, the return
must be given to an authorised person. `Authorised person' is defined in
section 3 of the Act.

SYDNEY AIRPORT CURFEW REGULATIONS 1995
- REG 6     Prescribed number -- subsection 12 (8) of the Act 

 
    (1)  For the purposes of paragraph 12 (8) (a) of the Act, the
prescribed number of take-offs and landings is 0.

    (2)  For the purposes of paragraph 12 (8) (b) of the Act, the
prescribed number of take-offs and landings is 0.

SYDNEY AIRPORT CURFEW REGULATIONS 1995
- REG 7     Prescribed number -- subsection 12 (9) of the Act 

 
    (1)  For the purposes of paragraph 12 (9) (a) of the Act, the
prescribed number of landings is 24.

    (2)  For the purposes of paragraph 12 (9) (b) of the Act, the
prescribed number of landings is 5.

SYDNEY AIRPORT CURFEW REGULATIONS 1995
- REG 8     Specified persons -- subsection 13 (1) of the  Act

        For the purposes of subsection 13 (1) of the Act, each of the
following persons is a specified person:

        (a)  Australian Air Express Pty Ltd;
        (b)  National Jet Systems Pty Ltd;
        (c)  Toll Transport Pty Limited.

- REG 10     Prescribed number -- subsection 13 (3) of the  Act

        For the purposes of subsection 13 (3) of the Act, the
prescribed number of take-offs and landings is:

        (a)  for aircraft registered in the name of, or operated by or on behalf of,
Australian Air Express Pty Ltd -- 28; and
        (b)  for aircraft registered in the name of, or operated by or on behalf of,
National Jet Systems Pty Ltd -- 28; and
        (c)  for aircraft registered in the name of, or operated by or on behalf of,
Toll Transport Pty Limited -- 18.

Regulation 2 of the Sydney Airport Curfew Regulations 1995 provides
as follows:
These Regulations commence on the day on which the Sydney Airport Curfew Act
1995 commences.
The Sydney Airport Curfew Act 1995 commenced at 10.45 pm on 24 December
1995.
