ROAD TRANSPORT REFORM (DANGEROUS GOODS) REGULATIONS 1997 - REG 4.22

(1)

A person must not consign dangerous goods in bulk for transport by road in a foreign approved IBC provided by the person if the transport of the goods by road in the IBC is prohibited by a determination under subregulation 4.27 (2).

Penalty:   $3,000

(2)

A person must not consign dangerous goods in bulk for transport by road in a foreign approved IBC provided by someone else if the person knows, or reasonably ought to know, that the transport of the goods by road in the IBC is prohibited by a determination under subregulation 4.27 (2).

Penalty:   $3,000
